Take Two Steps to Ensure Realistic Workload for Managers

Burnout among association managers is not uncommon. While some managers leave their positions, many continue their careers but constantly work beyond their comfort levels, either by extending their workdays or taking work home with them. Manager burnout is a serious issue for both management companies and community associations. A state of emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion will prevent an otherwise excellent community manager from performing her job at the necessary high level, leading to mistakes and turnover, both of which may impact members.
